Micah Trecca

In addition to being a producer and selecta, Micah Trecca is a mover, dancer and steward of the Kona Ecstatic Dance Collective. He has honed all these skills and crafts for the purpose of healing and self realization, for himself and his community. Music and movement are the two most important medicines of his path. Drawing from a background in rave culture and experimental synthesizer music, Trecca skillfully weaves genres that are less common in ecstatic contexts — including UK garage, IDM, and breakbeat acid techno — with the tried and true textures of west- coast bass, organica and progressive trance to create immersive arcs.
